This conversation is part of a series of discussions organised by the AE Foundation addressing inheritance in architecture and architectural education.
David Grandorge is a photographer, teacher, builder and writer. His work has been exhibited internationally and is widely published. He lives in Hackney and teaches a postgraduate unit and technology modules at London Metropolitan University.
Kieran Hawkins is the Founding Director of Cairn and a Teaching Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. He is one of the Directors of the AE Foundation.
This conversation took place in David’s house in November 2023.
